Sunday, April 20th 2009 Poesis and Wcu's Black Student Union present a performance Ntozake Shange's 1975 stageplay, "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf". It is a choreopoem peformed through a cast of seven nameless women, each represented by a color. Their poems deal with issues of love, abandonment, rape, abortion, etc. So come out and enjoy this powerful performance !!
